The challenge:
Keep growing despite a name change. 

After years of growth as a visual analytics pioneer serving energy companies, Visage Information Solutions lost a legal battle and had to change their business name. Instead of seeing the loss as a setback, the company wanted to use the rebranding as an opportunity to expand into new industry markets.

Together we developed a new brand and way of describing the company’s technology capabilities to carry forward the company’s credibility and growth momentum.


The solution.

Taking direction from the client on the new name, MI helped to launch a new “Verdazo” brand that boldly positioned Verdazo as a leader in data visualization software.

We developed a new website (with careful effort to protect search rank) and supported continued lead generation with sales collateral, case studies and email campaigns under the new brand.

We built a visually engaging, search-optimized website to showcase Verdazo’s differentiating strengths with knowledge resources highlighting the company’s rare expertise.

Keeping graphics bold and simple made it easy to find Verdazo, and modular items were lightweight and easy to transport.


Acquisition PR assures customers.

When Verdazo was acquired by Pason in 2016, the two companies asked MI to help broadcast the news to customers, partners and pitched media. Media articles were aimed at assuring customers that Verdazo products and service would continue, and welcoming Pason customers.


Sales tools introduce new products.

We applied the modern Verdazo brand to profiles of newly launched products and services to support sales growth with Pason customers following the acquisition. 


The result: Achieved continued growth & attracted great acquisition.

The goal of MI’s marketing partnership with Visage was to help the company maintain growth momentum after a name change to Verdazo. The new brand launch and PR were a success from the start, immediately doubling visitors to the Verdazo website.

Over the year that followed, ongoing marketing help and sales tools from MI helped boldly position Verdazo as a leader in visual analytics which not only led to a 40% increase in web leads, it attracted the attention of an industry-leading company seeking to acquire Verdazo. MI helped both companies communicate the new partnership.
